Rough Edges is a collection of pieces for piano solo. I let the music take over my thinking: they are unfiltered ideas, impulsive trajectories, intuitive gestures. For this recording session (made at home) I decided to not involve any composing/writing or planning beforehand: it is as immediate as improvisation can be. They are musical aphorisms, small adventures into the corners of creativity. The imagery attached to it through the titles is a reference to the mind visions (colours, shapes, forms, places, people, feelings) that inspired my musical world.
